https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/4940

Hundreds of CPMI who are victims of hoaxes on overseas job opportunities can be found easily on online news. This study aims to measure the effect of digital literacy competence and understanding the credibility of information on self-control in sharing digital content, especially related to overseas job opportunities. The research method is an explanatory survey of 699 CPMI West Java with 3.5 % of MoE. There are two main conclusions, that is: 1) West Java’s CPMI digital literacy index is at the level of proficiency level 6 with the advanced category, and 2) digital literacy and CPMI's understanding of the information credibility has a positive effect on the level of self-control of CPMI in sharing digital information. The hoaxes about overseas job opportunities should be resolved from the upstream side of the problem, such as by increasing digital literacy competencies evenly among CPMI. This effort can be collaborated through various government’s work programs such as dissemination, counseling, or multi-level training.
Eka Widi Astuti

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/4959

Infodemic and inadequate government public communications have encouraged the birth of digital activism KawalCOVID19 as a source of information about COVID-19. This article aims to identify practices, challenges, and forms of KawalCOVID19 digital activism in fighting the infodemic in Indonesia. This study uses the concept of infodemic, digital activism, and New Social Movement theory with a single case study qualitative method. This study found that KawalCOVID19 fights the infodemic with strategies for collecting, verifying, and analyzing COVID-19 data at the regional and central levels; providing informational, educational, and verification content about COVID-19; disseminating information on the website and social media to the public, and advocating government policy; and collaborating to extend the reach. KawalCOVID19 faces challenges from technological, interactional, personal, and policy perspectives. KawalCOVID19 is a form of data activism in the category of digital gladiatorial activities. Furthermore, digital activism continues to grow and presents opportunities for theoretical and empirical studies with different contexts and different activism actors and also analysis of the reception of activism.
Agne YasaRahayu

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/5114

The topic of start-ups and entrepreneurship has been widely discussed on social media to disseminate information while serving as a digital marketing platform. Unfortunately, researchers and practitioners interested in analyzing social networks to gain business advantage through digital platforms still need to be expanded. This paper analyzes networks on social media to find important actors and opinion leaders on trending start-up and entrepreneurship topics. Data analytics is performed using one of the most extensive social media, Twitter. Several visualizations of the social network of these actors are then displayed using specific network visualization applications. The results are discussed by analyzing the main attributes in the network, namely degree, centrality, modularity, and word cloud, which can lead us to discover important attributes in the network: main actors, opinion leaders, groupings of actors according to topics discussed, and specific terms that are trending topics. This paper contributes to digital marketing practitioners and social network analysis studies in related fields with a concise and duplicable methodology. Further research is recommended to work more extensively with more representative data from multiple networks to analyze these topics in more depth.
Eristian Wibisono

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/5028

This study aims to determine the effect of gender, socioeconomic status, social support, TikTok usage duration, TikTok body shape content exposure, and TikTok user activity level on body image. We try to combine theory from Cash and Pruzinski (2002), Grogan (2001), and uses and effects theory by Sven Windahl (1979) to identify various variables (including TikTok) that can affect body image. This research is quantitative cross-sectional. It involved 220 students taken from the population of 19,992 students using an incidental sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (chi-square), and multivariate (multiple logistic regression). Variables related to body image are social support (p = 0.033), body shape content exposure (p = 0.001), and user activity level (p = 0.00). The Variable that affects body image is the user activity level in the low-high category (p = 0.005, OR = 10.644).
Alfarid KurnialandiElviera GameliaSiti Masfiah

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/4946

This study visualises semiotic analysis of the meaning of nationalism in the 2020 ASEAN Football Federation championship using the constructivist paradigm. The primary data were collected through non-participant observation using Text Mining techniques with the help of a rapid miner. The method of this research consists of several stages including text processing and the use of the K-Means clustering technique to obtain data groupings that have similarities. Furthermore, the results of clustering were analyzed using the theory of semiotic triangle meaning Charles S. Peirce. The results showed that the sign includes texts that have the full meaning of nationalism or the teachings of love for the homeland. Sentences tweeted on Twitter social media are divided into state symbols represented by words such as national team as many as 22653 words, PSSI as many as 5097 words, and garuda with 1170 words. The attitude of nationalism is represented by words such as enthusiasm as many as 1893 words, fighting as many as 982 words, supporting as many as 11747 words, proud as many as 612 words, and hope as many as 506 words. Meanwhile, the cluster evaluation shows that 17 of the 28 available clusters have interpretations of nationalism values that emphasize texts that contain an attitude of national spirit through the 2020 AFF Cup final match.
Jeanie AnnissaAtik Ariesta

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/4944

This article examines the phenomenon of netizens’ negative responses towards the statement by Komnas Perempuan regarding the alleged sexual violence experienced by Ferdy Sambo's wife, as a form of delegitimation. Legitimation is built by discursive practice, and hence can be delegitimated by mechanisms of opposition. Delegitimation is carried out through three components of discursive legitimation, namely: (i) authority, (ii) rationality and (iii) symbolic. As a research method, a case study of citizens’ Twitter posts (tweets) from 1-10 September 2022 were analyzed using Intelligent Socio Analytic (ISA), a social media big data extraction tool. The results show in terms of authority, discursive delegitimation is carried out by positioning Komnas Perempuan to be supporting the narrative of the Police. In the aspect of rationality, Komnas Perempuan's discourse is seen as protecting the perpetrators of the murder instead of siding with the victim’s families. As for symbolic narratives, Komnas Perempuan is equated with other institutions that can be bribed and are weak in the face of power. In the digital era, discursive delegitimation can strengthen or weaken the digital authority of the public.
Nur Imroatus Sholikhah

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/5003

In the original paper of WebQual 4.0, Barnes and Vidgen (2002) called for an improvement of their WebQual 4.0 model. Since WebQual 4.0 is a tool for assessing the quality of e-commerce websites, therefore a modification should be made in order to use WebQual 4.0 for other types of websites. This research offers an integrated model of WebQual 4.0 and SERVQUAL to fulfill the need. The proposed integrated model resulted in seven variables: Usability, Design, Information, Empathy, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Reliability. To test the model, a questionnaire based on the proposed model was created to assess the quality of a company website that is primarily used to manage employees’ data. There were 124 data samples that can be used for analysis. A spider web diagram was created based on the reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) scores to show the overall website quality. Based on the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) results, it can be concluded that the integrated model that was created in this research was considered a good model. The implications and lessons learned from the study were discussed in the paper.
Siti Mardiana

https://jurnal.kominfo.go.id/index.php/iptekkom/article/view/5099

The Indonesian government has utilized an application, named Peduli Lindungi, to assist in controlling the spread of Covid-19. This study was aimed to uncover the public’s views on the Peduli Lindungi application. An online survey was conducted by distributing the questionnaire through social media applications to gather 266 participants around Indonesian inhabitants using a convenience sampling method. The data were analyzed by applying an independent sample t-test and ANOVA to detect the differences of participants’ usefulness and easiness perception, attitude, privacy anxiety, and trust between gender, age, educational level, and occupation groups. The analysis showed that oldsters, graduate degree completion, and public workers had a higher level of perceived usefulness, attitude, and trust. The study also found the role of educational level and occupation in affecting the public’s perception. However, more studies are encouraged by broadly observing other types of views to design the most effective strategy in promoting the application.
Rifki Nur PriyansyahIkhsan Fuady
