Abstract
ABSTRACT
This article tries to explain the bridging of qualitative approach study. This article focuses on the
bridging oriented to qualitative-research approach, especially qualitative text-based approach of
Communication Research. The results show that as one of approaches, qualitative research approach
is based on a postheriori-data principle belief. On the basis of data source criterion, qualitative
research approach, -especially qualitative approach of research Communication- is divided into two
groups. First, field-based qualitative approach and (second) text-based qualitative approaches. The
text-based qualitative approach included text analysis model of Theo Van Leewin, Marxist analysis,
etc.

ABSTRAK
Artikel ini berupaya memaparkan pem-bridging-an megenai penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif.
Fokus pem-bridging-an diorientasikan pada penelitian pendekatan kualitatif, khususnya penelitian
komunikasi pendekatan kualitatif berbasis teks. Dari hasil bahasan dapat dikemukakan bahwa sebagai
salah satu pendekatan, maka penelitian pendekatan kualitatif bertolak dari keyakinan pada data yang
berbasiskan pada prinsip apostheriori. Berdasarkan kriterium sumber perolehan data, Penelitian
Pendekatan Kualitatif, khususnya Penelitian Komunikasi dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif terbedakan
menjadi dua kelompok. Pertama Penelitian Komunikasi dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif yang
berbasiskan “field” dan kedua Penelitian Komunikasi dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif yang berbasiskan
Teks. Penelitian Komunikasi dengan Pendekatan Kualitatif yang berbasiskan Teks, diantaranya adalah
model analisis teks Theo Van Leewin, model analisis teks Marxis, dll.
