Penelitian ini untuk merancang suatu permodelan tata kelola informasi menggunakan teknologi informasi berupa usulan kebijakan monitoring dan evaluasi pengendalian internal teknologi informasi (ME2) menggunakan kerangka kerja COBIT versi 4.1. Pendekatan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Mixed Methods dengan pendekatan Sequential Transformative Strategy, yang memiliki perbedaan pada tahapan pengumpulan data kualitatif. dan data kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan metode kualitatif didapat data berupa dokumen-dokumen yang terkait dengan kebijakan teknologi informasi di Dinas Komunikasi Infomatika Kabupaten Madiun, sedangkan data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui survei kuesioner I management awareness, kuesioner II maturity level, dan kuesioner pengendalian internal. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa model tata kelola sistem pengendalian internal pengelolaan informasi.
