Rancangan Pendukung Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh dengan Menggunakan Learning Management System

Revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan capaian tertinggi kemajuan teknologi pada sistem informasi dalam sejarah manusia. Dampak dari revolusi ini berpengaruh pada kehidupan manusia termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Teknologi Informasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan jangkauan apabila digunakan secara bijak untuk pendidikan dan pelatihan, serta mempunyai arti yang sangat penting bagi kesejahteraan. Sebagai pendukung pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien Learning Management System (LMS) dapat mendukung penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh, mendukung penyusunan, penggandaan dan distribusi bahan ajar, proses penilaian belajar dalam berbagai bentuk model evaluasi belajar dan interaksi antara pengajar dan mahasiswa melalui berbagai bentuk interaksi menggunakan media audio visual. Dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian maka penelitian ini mengikuti tahapan dari model perancangan waterfall. Penegembangan LMS pada Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) telah diujicoba oleh semua user antara lain staff admin, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Hasil data secara umum menunjukkan bahwa LMS yang dibangun telah mampu memenuhi semua kebutuhan pembelajaran mahasiswa 85%, dan untuk kekurangannya 15% yaitu tidak ada pemberitahuan dari LMS ketika ada tugas dan materi, untuk praktikum LMS belum dapat membantu.
