Abstract

Balai Pengkajian dan Pengembangan Komunikasi dan Informatika Surabaya merupakan unit pelaksana kerja dibawah Badan Litbang Kementrian Kominfo yang bergerak dibidang penelitian. Sebagai unit pelaksana kerja dalam pengolahan jurnal maka sistem jurnal berbasis elektronik atau e-jurnal sangatlah dibutuhkan untuk memanagement hasil penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji suatu model dan desain untuk sistem e-jurnal yang dapat diimplementasikan di BPPKI Surabaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan untuk metode perancangan sistem menggunakan analisis terstruktur yang mana terdapat 4 tahapan yaitu membuat docflow, diagram fishbone, merancang conceptual data model serta physical data model. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat mempermudah dalam pengelolaan jurnal, meminimalisir terjadinya kehilangan data serta mempermudah dalam pengaksesan jurnal online.
