Respon Pengguna Twitter terhadap Regulasi Pengendalian Akses Ponsel Ilegal melalui Validasi IMEI (Twitter User’s Response to Regulation of Contraband Cell Phone Access Control through IMEI Validation)

Regulasi pemerintah yang dikeluarkan pada awal bulan juli 2019 mengenai pengendalian akses ponsel ilegal melalui validasi IMEI ramai diperbincangkan oleh semua kalangan masyarakat, baik itu konsumen, produsen bahkan perusahaan pun turut aktif memberikan pendapat mengenai aturan yang rencananya di tandatangani pada bulan agustus 2019 tersebut. Pendapat yang muncul baik di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya tentunya memunculkan reaksi yang beragam dan tentunya akan membentuk opini baik positif, netral maupun negatif. Twitter menjadi salah satu dari sekian banyak media sosial yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pendapat secara massif mengenai aturan tentang pengendalian akses ponsel ilegal melalui validasi IMEI. Penelitian ini menganalisa isi twit opini pengguna Twitter mengenai aturan pemerintah tersebut dengan menggunakan metode data mining melalui big data tools yakni IPA (Intelegence Perception Analysis). Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa sentimen pengguna twitter terhadap regulasi tersebut didominasi oleh respon negatif dengan dimensi emosi yang paling banyak diungkapkan adalah antisipatif dan surprise.
