Studi Eksperimen Peningkatan Literasi Media Sosial Humas Pemerintah Daerah (Experimental Study to Improve Social Media Literacy For Local Government Public Relations)

Abstract
Maraknya penyebaran informasi bohong di media sosial, perlu disikapi oleh humas pemerintah. Oleh karena itu, humas pemerintah perlu meningkatkan keetrampilan literasi digital mereka, salah satunya melalui pelatihan dengan menggunakan modul literasi media baru dari Linn dkk. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengukur seberapa jauh pengaruh dari pelatihan tersebut terhadap peningkatan literasi media sosial humas pemerintah daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi-Experimental. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive non-random sampling. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan nilai pre-test dan post-test melalui T-Test, dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan literasi media sosial humas pemerintah daerah, meskipun belum signifikan. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan beberapa perbaikan pada modul maupun teknik penyampaian materi pelatihan.
