ABSTRAK
Informasi mengenai Suhu Permukaan Tanah (SPT) perlu diketahui.
ABSTRACT
Information on Land Surface Temperature (LST) should be known. Given that LST as a factor affecting global climate change. To avoid the occurrence of Urban Heat Island then required information about LST. Where, in this research is identification process by utilizing thermal wave (thermal band) contained in Landsat Image 8. Identification process is done by Digital Number conversion method. The technique used is the combination of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System as a tool for processing and data analysis. The results of the study provide information that the highest LST in the area MEBIDANG that is 250 C (Medium). In general, LST in the area MEBIDANG is ranging from 10 - 200 C (Low - Medium). Meanwhile, the information obtained more specifically, in the core area of the city that is LST in Medan City describes still quite moderate that is 15 - 200 C.
