I. GENERAL GUIDELINES
Scientific writing that will be published in the Jurnal Pekommas must meet the minimum standards for writing scientific papers; the following should be considered:
a. Scope of scientific work/manuscripts
Scientific works/manuscripts that can be published in the Jurnal Pekommas are the results of research and scientific studies in communication, informatics, and mass media. The results of research in the form of system design must have been tested by the user so that it discusses the benefits of the system being designed.
b. Actual
The actuality of writing is a top priority. Priorities can be linked to the actual momentum/current issues that are happening and developing in the community. Therefore, writing something that is outdated or doesn't get enough attention from the public is avoided.
c. Straightforward language
In writing, please avoid using less understood language because it will make the delivery of ideas less catchy. The choice of words and sentences needs to be considered carefully. Do not write words with multiple meanings because it will confuse the readers, use inappropriate language, and result in the reader failing to transform ideas/thoughts.
d. Writing contains something innovative and new
The novelty in writing can be seen from a certain point of view that has never been written by other parties, as well as the development of a method/theory/concept, and efforts must be made to ensure that the data used is accurate and up to date. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to the actual issues that are happening in the community.
e. Original ideas/thoughts
Ideas/opinions are original/original works. This is to avoid accusations of plagiarism (plagiarism).
