Pengaruh Literasi Digital Terhadap Pencegahan Informasi Hoaks pada Remaja di SMA Negeri 7 Kota Lhokseumawe

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi digital terhadap penyebaran informasi hoaks pada remaja di SMA N 7 Kota Lhokseumawe. Kemajuan teknologi memberikan kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi yang menjadikannya rawan terhadap penyebaran informasi hoaks. Melalui peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital pada remaja akan meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam bermedia sosial dan berinternet, juga mampu menganalisis keabsahan suatu informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik kuantitatif dan korelasional sebagai jenis risetnya. Riset ini menggunakan representatif responden sebanyak 72 orang dan instrument penelitian angket. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa secara signifikan dan negatif literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap penyebaran linformasi hoaks sebesar 20,6%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi yang tinggi menjadikan penyebaran informasi hoaks bertambah rendah. Tingkat literasi digital remaja di SMA N 7 Kota Lhokseumawe termasuk pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 56.94%, dan tingkat penyebaran informasi hoaks termasuk pada kategori rendah yaitu 69,44%.
